Season 2, Episode 1.

Scott Thibeault, Custom Motorcycle builder and owner of Builds by Scott.

Season 2 is here, and we’re kicking it off with Builds by Scott!

Scott is a super kind man, fun to talk with, and has some great stories. Oh and he also restores and builds custom BMW Airheads.

Come along for the ride, while we talk about his upbringing, working from “home” while in Mexico, riding parade style, and why it’s hard not to be a hooligan on a sport bike.

Episode 6, The Melanie Owens

Hang out with us, while I get confused over new R&B, say “prolific” too many times and misquote songs.  We talk racial issues, background singing, and her brush with fame on American Idle.  Find Melanie on IG @mrsmelo_79, and keep an eye out for her new website with more info, and  performance dates.

Episode 5, Tom Huynh.

Episode 5 features Sacramento local photographer Tom Huynh! Tom is an amazing guy, with a deep background in photography and life wisdom. We talk about where his passion comes from, his opinions on fashion, I make a few gaffs as usual and porn is mentioned. Most importantly, we cover the “horizon line!”. Find Tom’s work here: @ihatetomhuynh

Episode 4, Ross Messier.

Sacramento local Ross Messier is in the house! Actually, we did the interview in his studio but still… I was a little rusty on this one, misspoke a couple times and might have confused Matisse for Monet, but we had a great time. Ross was awesome and on the plus side, gave me a shot of whisky I’ve been wanting to try. We talk about his childhood comedic fame, his music, cooking, painting, and random topics as they came our way. Find his wontons at www.kingwonton.com@the_wonton_king on Instagram, his music on Soundcloud as “forms of flux”, or as thedailytripper. And of course Boo on instagram @boothecowfromspace

Episode 3:Mike Blanchard

In this episode we talk to local Sacramento artist Mike Blanchard. Mike is a guy who can do it all; Photography, music, painting, writing. If it’s creative, he seems to be a natural, and if not, works really really hard to perfect his craft. We hear about his creative journey, the state of media today, who still likes hot rods and the notorious camera, called a Leica.

Episode 02: Vanessa Van Vleck, Artist and owner of Superbum Plant Co.

Our second Episode is done! I had the pleasure of speaking to Vanessa Van Vleck, a local Sacramento artist, and the owner and operator of Superbum Plant Co. Just a warning though, there is some swearing and we do discuss depression and suicidal thoughts. But hey, we also talk plants, the culture around plants and even her husband tackling some dude before he could hit a cop! For more information about Vanessa and Superbum, find them on instagram or Facebook
